Lucky by Design is Real

I finished writing my book on New Year’s Eve.

Not at midnight with champagne in hand—a few hours earlier, alone at my desk in Denver, staring at the final paragraph of Lucky by Design. Then I closed my laptop, slipped into something sparkly, and walked into a swanky cocktail bar to ring in the next chapter.

Writing a book often has a surprising ending.

By October, I had the first third drafted. In November, I flew to Fiji convinced I’d finish it there. Tavola in shoulder season. Trade winds. Infinite inspiration.

Who was I kidding?

It was too beautiful to be indoors. The reef kept calling. The sunsets demanded witnessing. I adopted a puppy. We decided to rebuild the bungalow decks into sunken patios for stargazing. Clearly, the book would have to wait.

So when I landed back in Denver at Thanksgiving, I made a decision. Two-thirds of a book in five weeks. December would be a writing sprint.

What surprised me most? I fell in love with the process. Somewhere around week two, I stopped grinding and started flowing. Words came easier. Ideas connected in ways I couldn’t have forced. I found a rhythm I didn’t know I had.

And the ending? It revealed itself to me. That’s the true gift of writing—you’re both writer and reader, experiencing as you go.

Now I’m already dreaming about the next book—a journey across timelines. But that one has to wait. First, Lucky by Design crosses the finish line into your hands.

And this is where our paths connect.

I’ve been writing about Quantum Surfing in this weekly letter for years. Sharing the philosophy, the framework, the lucky behaviors that shift everything. Now it’s all woven into one book—the methodology for becoming predictably lucky.

Here’s a taste of what’s inside:

Most of us were taught to paddle. Work harder. Push through. Make it happen. It’s you against the ocean, generating all the momentum yourself. Exhausting.

Surfing is different. You catch a wave that’s already moving—letting a force bigger than you carry you forward.

Here’s the ratio most people get backwards: 80% energy, 20% action. High-achievers flip it—80% hustling, optimizing, executing. Then they wonder why they’re exhausted and the results feel forced.

But you can’t think your way to a different timeline. You have to resonate your way there. Your energetic signature—what you’re feeling, believing, broadcasting—is choosing which reality you experience. Shift the frequency, and the timeline shifts with it.

Get into the vibrational groove first. Then act from that aligned place. The results come faster, with less grind.

And I want you to be part of the launch.

I don’t just want passive readers. I want the Mavericks who’ve been on this ride with me. Those who understand that luck isn’t random—it’s designed.

More details coming soon. For now, just know: the book is done. The celebration is coming. And I want you there.

What’s the last thing you finished that surprised you by how much you loved the process? ✨
