When I reflect on the most powerful twists and turns in my life, the Akasha is there.
I cannot imagine my life without my connection to—and deep relationship with—the Akasha.
I learned to read what is commonly called the “Akashic Records” eight years ago, though the space is certainly not a static record or spiritual filing cabinet. It is more accurately a pulsating intelligence. I’m so grateful to my younger self that we chose this journey—a path of authentic expression and divine sovereignty. A path best served by courage, curiosity, and love. Always love.
The Akasha brought me home to my island of Vanua Levu—which translated means “big Vanua.” Akasha quite literally landed me at Tavola, revealing a twisty path to navigate contacts and negotiations. But in a grander sense, she brought me home to my heart. To the vanua.
Vanua is an indigenous Fijian word that doesn’t have a direct English translation. And that’s a shame, because vanua is what we long for, what we crave, what’s missing in our disconnected world. Vanua is foundational to being. She is a living entity, with land and people intrinsically linked and interdependent. A concept deeply intertwined with identity, belonging, and cultural continuity—a natural way of being that aligns us with the flow of life.
Vanua is home. With her, I am home in my heart. And even among strangers, I belong—because there is a recognition that we all belong. It can be no other way.
The Akasha has guided me—to my heart, to belonging, to love, to wonder, to adventure. She brings wisdom and insight, but in a way that transcends what our word wisdom can contain. She offers illumination that stretches beyond the everyday, while simultaneously revealing the sacred beauty within the everyday. She infuses the world around us, shimmering with stories—stories of which we are a part, of which we are interwoven.
The Akasha is not so much “there” as everywhere and nowhere. She is divine potential being brought into form.
With every breath, we access the Akasha—we quite literally breathe her. On the in-breath, in that brief moment of silence, we breathe in the dynamic stillness of the Akasha. We breathe in the pervasive field of potential—all that can be—and then on the out-breath, we put the potential we’ve chosen, the potential that has inspired us, into motion, into action, into form.
We breathe in possibility. We breathe out form. We are creators. Sometimes haphazard and unaware creators, but creators nonetheless. It is our very nature to create.
In my own explorations of the Akasha, I’ve been gifted profound truths—about the nature of time, and how to energetically navigate our quantum world. These revelations arise because I am curious about the true nature of the world in which we live.
And yet some of the most poignant moments come when I access the Akasha for others. The questions often relate to the emotional experience of life itself—grief, lost love, heartache, dashed hopes, uncertainty, unexpected shifts, new paths. And the replies feel cloaked in a gossamer of grace, expressed with extraordinary love and tenderness. In the Akasha, I see these stories woven into our human tapestry—each of us contributing and simultaneously experiencing the whole.
I see that as we breathe separately, we breathe together. The vanua.
Exquisite beauty, joy, love, and divine wisdom perhaps most aptly describe the Akasha. She is the dynamic expression of Source. She is how Source comes to life. And within her sea of potential are all versions of you—“past” paths that are actually concurrent, “future” paths that are also concurrent, and the gorgeous and powerful now.
The now in this breath, and then the next. The fullness of the moment—and you, the creator, bringing that inspiration (literally, inspire—to breathe in) into form.
Be well.
Be love.
Create.
