If you’ve been reading for a while, you probably get why I chose the word Maverick.
This letter is for the ones who won’t stay in their lane.
The ones building what doesn’t yet exist. The ones who question the rules, rewrite the script, and make moves others don’t see coming.
It’s for the creative and courageous—the leaders, the shapers, the misfits with vision. Those who feel the future whispering—and are bold enough to answer.
But what about Game?
That word might sound strange in the context of something as serious as building a business, starting a movement, or shaping the future.
But to me, it’s the perfect lens. Here’s why:
1 — Creation is play.
When you bring lightness, joy, and experimentation to what you’re building, everything changes. You access better ideas. You make smarter moves. You recover faster.
Let’s be honest—who wants to build a meaningful life from a place of grind?
The most inspiring entrepreneurs I know are playing. Not passively—but actively. They’re curious. Daring. Inventive. They know that when you bring your full self—heart, mind, instinct, soul—you stop pushing, and start surfing.
2 — Life runs on energy.
It’s not just what you do. It’s the energy behind it.
When your energy is scattered or stressed, so are your results. When your energy is clean, grounded, and alive—doors open.
That’s the real game: mastering the energy you’re playing with.
When you move from coherence, things shift—fast. Ideas flow. Partnerships land. Timing clicks. It feels like magic. But it’s alignment.
3 — Every level unlocks the next.
Like any great game, life is made of levels. And you can’t access the next one with the mindset or methods that got you here.
You have to evolve your perception, expand your identity, and upgrade your tools. You have to become the person who belongs at the next level.
It’s uncomfortable.
It’s the stretch. But that’s where the exhilaration lives.
4 — There are cheat codes.
You might call them hacks. I call it luck.
Not the random kind—the cultivated kind. The kind that arrives when you follow your intuition, move when it resonates, and stay open to surprise.
Lucky people aren’t just fortunate—they’re tuned in. They’ve trained themselves to spot the opening, trust the nudge, and act before the data is complete.
That’s the cheat code.
It lets you skip steps. Collapse time.
Make moves that look like magic—because they kind of are.
So yes, it’s a game. A serious one—but a game nonetheless.
You’re not here to just survive it.
You’re here to play it.
To master it.
To enjoy it.
And to help others find their way, too.
This is The Mavericks Game. Glad you’re here.
